Follow each step carefully — from your Class 11 PCM selection to DGCA exams and flight training.

Its a profile that is created on e-government website by DGCA (Director General of Civil Aviation).
You need EGCA ID to apply for Class 1 & 2 medicals, pilot licenses, and to log your flying hours. Without it, you can’t even begin the Class 2 medical process.
As soon as you enter Class 11(Choose Phyics and maths - pcm stream)

Yes – If you are a registered PTI student (see step 2). Processing time: Instant
REGISTRATION AT GROUND CLASSES (PTI REGISTERED STUDENT)
It reserves your spot in the 100% scholarship batch and officially starts your pilot training journey.
Right after passing Class 11 and starting Class 12.
₹2,500 (for PTI, Indore) – Lifetime validity at PTI
Yes – Registration confirmed within 24–48 working hours
The first medical test required before you can take the Class 2 medical exam
It’s the first check to confirm you're medically fit to become a pilot. It’s strongly advised to do this before starting ground classes.
You can do it anytime, but it must be done before flight training. It's best to get it done in Class 11 — that way, you’ll know early if you're medically fit and can plan your future accordingly. (PILOT CAREER OR SOMETHING ELSE)
₹4,000 (Airforce Station) / ₹8,000 (Private Hospitals) – Valid for 2 years
Yes – If you are a registered PTI student (see step 2). DGCA doctor issues CA35 instantly, but certificate appearance on EGCA portal may take up to 3 months
ONCE ABOVE STEPS ARE DONE, NOW FOCUS ON YOUR CLASS 12TH EXAM, AND WAIT TILL YOU GET YOUR 12TH BOARDS RESULTS BEFORE PROCEEDING TO NEXT STEPS
Study all 6 DGCA ground subjects if flying from India. For those training abroad, study 4 subjects.
